Oval Turning on the VOD 300

The turning of a twice turned oval bowl, this video is of the 2nd turning to a finished elliptical bowl turned from Arbutus Burl. The rough bowl was first turned 2 yrs prior then boiled and air dried. The video describes mounting, adjusting the timing of the VOD and workpiece as well as re mounting to complete a recessed elliptical bottom with embellishment on the Rose Engine lathe.
