showed up to the July NRL22 match without my own rifle, so I had to borrow someone else’s setup and shoot the entire match with a gun that wasn’t mine. And somehow… I WON. 🏆 It definitely raises the question: how much does the gun really matter? This match ended up being a great reminder that getting comfortable behind the rifle, making good decisions, reading the wind, and executing the fundamentals can matter a whole lot more than having the perfect setup.
