Designing and Knitting a Skirt to use up some Scrap Yarn

Hello friends! Before I started this YouTube channel I actually had plans of becoming a yarn dyer. So I have amassed quite a bit of exactly the same yarns in all different colours. In 2026 I had grand plans to get though some of my stash, so here is one of the plans in motion: knit a skirt from my mountain of fingering weight yarns. As a base for this skirt I'm using this free pattern from Drops/Garnstudio: https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.ph... but I actually am using this more as visual inspiration than actual pattern, for I am practically designing my own knitting pattern in this video.
