Pokémon Elite Redux is a rom hack of Pokémon Emerald that revamps the difficulty and most importantly, allows Pokémon to have up to 4 abilities at once! 3 Innate abilities unique to the species, and 1 ability that can be changed at any time. It's insanely hectic and very difficult and I'm going to try to nuzlocke it. What are my Hardcore Nuzlocke rules? NUZLOCKE Rules: 1. If a Pokémon faints it is considered dead and can no longer be used. 2. Only the first Pokémon in a route or area may be caught, with the exceptions of scripted/static encounters. 3. All Pokémon must be nicknamed if possible. HARDCORE Rules: 1. You must play on Set Mode rather than Switch mode, so no switching after KO'ing an enemy Pokémon. 2. NO items may be used in battle except for Pokeballs or held items. OPTIONAL Rules/Clauses: 1. If I white out during a battle, I will continue by making a new team from the Pokémon in my box until I run out. 2. Dupes/Species Clause: If I encounter a Pokémon or a member of it's evolution line that I've already caught, it does not have to count.
