Having worked in both resale real estate and new construction, I understand how important broker relationships are throughout the homebuying process. Different builders and communities may have different Selling Office Commission (SOC) structures, and compensation is negotiable. But beyond commissions, I believe the most important part of this business is communication and making sure buyers understand all the opportunities available to them.
