Sonny Tunnel Wash at Quick Quack Car Wash in San Antonio TX (Huebner Rd)

Today, I'm up at another tunnel wash, this time I'm up at a chain that is quickly making its way in San Antonio, I'm at a Quick Quack car wash location in San Antonio TX on Huebner Rd. This site was recycled from the Phoenix based Dash Car Wash that first built this site in 2024 and opened the next year and contained Sonny equipment with a STI Flowline dual belt Conveyor, and that wash lasted only 2 years of service until 2026 when the site was purchased by Quick Quack Car Wash, a Sacramento based car wash company that has various locations built in Texas in 2008 (with Houston/Harris county being their biggest town), and recently this year, the company has since spread out to the San Antonio area. Despite the acquisition of this tunnel, all of the Sonny equipment in the tunnel was still mostly intact, except a couple things were added, reconfigured, or removed to be up to Quick Quack's chemistry standards. I bought the top dollar Ceramic Duck wash package which comes out to $27.99 for a single wash, and wash quality for this I would rate this an 8/10, the opening presoak and foam bath was applied very well, and this utilized the 2K14 top brush that uses 2 wrap around brush sets and a compact top brush, the first set of wrap around brushes did profile pretty nicely, the tri-foam was applied great, the compact top brush profiled great (along with bottom mount side washers), the 2nd set of wrap around brushes (separate from the 2K14 brush) profiled great as well, the front to back curtain mitters did great, the waterfall style rinse did good, the lava wax coating did good (though these Quick Quack tunnels don't give much of a thick coating), the side to side curtain mitter set did a great job as well, the ceramic coating was good, and the final rinse cycle went very good and got all of the soap off, and lastly the dryers, consisting of 5 rows of dryers, the first set having the V-nozzle twin blower setup, the 2nd row having two angled nozzles on the 2 dryers, the 3rd row having 2 dryers with fixed housings, and the 4th and 5th row having a singular blower on the top respectively with mammoth side dryers on either side, all of which did a fantastic job drying off the vehicle (Sonny's dryers give such great performance).
