Dao Khan is a village and tourist spot in Leepa Valley, Hattian Bala District of Azad Kashmir. It is located 71 kilometers (44 mi) from Muzaffarabad and 4 kilometers (2.5 mi) from Reshian at the altitude of 2,490 meters (8,170 ft). Accessibility: Dao Khan is accessible by a carpeted road from Reshian. For Rashian you’ll have to travel from Muzzaffarabad (Capital of Azad Kashmir) by local or personal transport till Hattian Bala. Road condition is excellent. From Hattian Bala a road leads to Reshian is used to reach Dao Khan. Weather: Weather in summers is pleasant and nights are cold. In winters its freezing cold due to heavy snowfall in this area. Food and Accomodation: Rest houses of AJK Tourism & Archaeology Department and AJK Forest Department are located here for tourists stay. Moreover a few private hotels are also there where you can get food and accommodation.
