Carols for Choir & Orchestra on a Snowy Christmas Eve | Angels from the Realms of Glory

Traditional Christmas carols sung by a full choir with orchestra - strings, harp and soft brass, many in a gentle 3/4 waltz - with a few a cappella hymns in between. The evening opens with Angels from the Realms of Glory, then We Three Kings, Away in a Manger and Coventry Carol, 26 carols in order. A high-ceilinged mountain lodge of honey timber and stone at deep blue twilight: a big fire burning in the rustic stone fireplace hung with stockings and a wreath, a tall tree dressed all in gold with presents piled beneath it, and a small tray of gingerbread and milk beside a plaid armchair.
