JAPAN ASSEMBLAGE - the forgotten vinyl that introduced the wider public to the band's music in '81.

Assemblage was a compilation album by the band JAPAN. Released in 1981 worldwide it introduced many people to the band and contributed to them having the most weeks in the UK chart of any act from 1982 to 1983. In this video I explore the album track by track, talk about the impact the album had, different international variations on vinyl and what it means to me.
