One Hour Walking Around Tokyo Game Show 2026 | 30th Anniversary

I’m a 42-year-old Japanese woman. I live in Tokyo with my American husband, who loves shooting games. This time, we went to Tokyo Game Show for the first time. We went without really knowing what kind of event it was, so we mostly just walked around and explored the venue, but even that was a really great experience. A friend of mine who works for a game company once told me, “You should probably go at least once just for the experience.” After going this time, I think I kind of understand what they meant. Before we went, I imagined it would feel more futuristic, with lots of opportunities to try the latest games and see displays using the newest technology. But once we got there, I realized there are many different ways to enjoy the event, including game exhibits, merchandise, stage events, and company booths.
