A Russian ammunition truck had just backed into a hidden shed near Huliaipole on the Zaporizhzhia front — and the crew unloading it had no idea they'd been followed there.
Why would Ukraine let a loaded ammo truck drive right past its drones?
Ukrainian units spotted the truck moving through occupied Huliaipole and, according to Ukrainian military reports, chose to track it instead of striking it on the road. It led them to a concealed hangar shelter being used as an ammunition store. In less than three and a half hours from detection, pilots of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment (7th Air Assault Corps) hit the truck inside the shelter with a single FPV drone. Ukrainian sources report about 60 artillery shells detonated, and the 414th Unmanned Systems Brigade "Birds of Magyar" filmed the result.
This video follows the truck from the road to the shed and breaks down why letting it drive was the smarter strike — and why a depot that is hard to spot from above can be easy to find from the road that leads to it.
