Escalada Arista Zorros en la Huasteca Julio 2026

Julio 12, 2026. Ruta: Zorros. Es la cresta o arista de la Torre Diablos. Mejor conocida como la "Arista Zorros". Cañón de La Huasteca Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, México. Algunas personas le dan una dificultad de 5.8. Yo creo que a lo mucho solo hay un par de movimientos de 5.8 Secciones cortas de 5.7 y en promedio toda la ruta es como 5.6 Altura: Aproximadamente 200 metros, pero debido a su baja pendiente, son 300+ de escalada. Esta es una de las rutas altas mas bonitas y clásicas de La Huasteca En esta ocasión fuimos: El master Miguel Guerra, El siempre afable "Coco" Humberto, Iván Flores, alias Kontra, que es la 4ta vez que escala en su vida, y Rodrigo Velarde. Inconvenientes: Acercamiento con mucha lechugilla, hierbas "Mala Mujer", y otras plantas agresivas y picudas; lo típico de La Huasteca. Víboras cascabel "serranas" (pequeñas y grises, pero muy venenosas), tanto en la ruta como en los rapeles como en el acercamiento. ESTA VEZ NADIE VIÓ VÍBORAS. Descenso: 4 rapeles de entre 30 y 35 metros. Si llevan 1 sola cuerda de 70 metros estarán muy bien. La ruta es muy fácil de seguir si van por primera vez, pero los rapeles necesitan que los acompañe alguien que ya la haya hecho o que les expliquen antes muy muy bien por donde están.
