I headed to Jaffna for the first time with a list of target species to find. One was the Indian Red Scorpion—one of the world’s most venomous scorpions and the only scorpion in Sri Lanka known to have caused human fatalities. Finding them was far from easy. After three nights of searching, we finally managed to bring these remarkable encounters to you. Here’s how it happened. ❤️ Special thanks to Sanjaya Bandara, Dhananjaya Prabath and Kumudu Wijesooriya for their help in the field and for sharing their knowledge. I’m also grateful to Aitken Spence Travels for providing a vehicle, Jetwing Eco Holidays for assisting with logistics, and Fox Jaffna for hosting me at their beautiful property. Thank you all for your generous support! 🎥 Filmed by: Sanjaya Bandara and Ru Somaweera ✂️ Edited by: Ru Somaweera 🎙️ Presented in Sinhala with auto-generated English subtitles Ru Somaweera ON SOCIAL 📺 Subscribe now:    / @rugoeswild   📘 Follow on Facebook:   / somaweera   📸 Follow on Instagram:   / rusomaweera   🌐 Official Website: https://www.ruchira-somaweera.net
