In this series I build a hollow body electric guitar I'm really excited to be taking part in the GGBO 2022 Community Build, my guitar will be a hollow body electric scratch build. In this video I demo the bass guitar that I have been completely rebuilding over the previous 21 episodes and talk about the design and woods I will be using for my GGBO 2022 build. I feature a truly inspiring amateur guitar builder in this week's "My Guitar Feature" who has created a replica of an iconic guitar. - Content ---------------------------- 00:00 Intro 00:38 Demo of bass guitar made in the bass makeover series 04:25 Design ideas and wood selection for GGBO 2022 08:55 This week's "My Guitar Feature" 23:36 Preparing the woods for my GGBO 2022 guitar 26:00 This week's 5 minute guitar workshop workout - the phrygian scale 28:30 Sign out - Why not get involved ------------- My Guitar Feature Let me feature your home made guitars - see my web site for details. I have produced and recorded all the music in my videos using either Cubase Pro or Cubasis on the iPad. Most of the tracks will include one of my travel/compact guitars.
