Gurdjieff Movements U Theatre, Taipei, 2023

This is from a 5-day workshop with U Theatre of Taiwan. (www.utheatre.org.tw) I have been teaching Gurdjieff Movements to U Theatre for over 25 years - though most of the people in this video were not with the company at that time. Over the years, U Theatre have produced 3 shows based in Gurdjieff Movements, in 2006, 2016, and 2021, all premiered at the National Theatre of Taiwan in Taipei. U Theatre's work is physical theatre and taiko drumming. Their work process includes meditation, martial arts and Gurdjieff Movements. THis video shows a little of their work:    • U-Theatre Taiwan – Introduction and Repert...   U Theatre also work in the community, in schools, and also taught taiko drumming on one prison in Taiwan; one of my Taiwanese students also taught, for 2 years, Gurdjieff Movements in the same prison, and I also had the opportunity to teach 2 or 3 times there.
