Winter is coming to the Zagros Mountains, and this nomadic family must work hard to prepare their mountain cave and protect their animals before the cold and dangerous nights arrive. 🏔️🔥 The day begins with rebuilding and strengthening their cave shelter. Every stone, every piece of wood, and every bit of effort brings them one step closer to being ready for winter. 🪨🏕️ Yasin and Parvin then begin a difficult journey through steep and dangerous mountain paths to visit the Mola nomadic family, who live beside a wild river. 🌊⛰️ They had left some of their sheep with this family so they could take care of them. Thankfully, the sheep are healthy and safe. While visiting the family, Parvin picks fresh vegetables from their garden, including cucumbers, zucchini, and other fresh greens, to take back to their mountain cave. 🥒🌿 But Yasin and Parvin want to increase their flock. They need more sheep so the family can have their own milk, yogurt, and traditional doogh during the coming winter. 🐑🥛 They travel to the village and find a man who has 10 sheep for sale. After carefully checking the animals and seeing that they are healthy, they agree to buy them. They make a written agreement and arrange to pay for the sheep in monthly installments. 🐑🤝 Before leaving the village, they also buy essential food supplies and a notebook and pencil for Artin, so he can begin learning how to write. ✏️📖❤️ The family then starts the difficult journey back to their mountain cave with the new sheep. When they finally arrive, they give the exhausted animals fresh water and let them rest after the long journey. 💧🐑 Artin proudly writes his first letter in his new notebook. ✏️❤️ Meanwhile, Mokhtar takes the sheep high into the mountains for grazing. ⛰️🐑 Later, the family prepares a delicious meal inside the cave using a chicken they bought in the village. They roast it over a traditional wood fire, bringing warmth, food, and happiness to the family on a cold mountain night. 🔥🍗 But another challenge remains. The sheep still have no safe shelter for the night.
