Remastered using artificial intelligence and upscaled to UHD in high quality, this is an #extras featurette from the awesome fantasy classic The Dark Crystal (1982) with an interview with writer David Odell, curiosities, most especially in this case about the original Skeksis “gibberish” language, the original voice of Aughra by Frank Oz, behind the scenes, test footage and production materials in addition to facts about its development. The Dark Crystal (1982) extras behind the scenes making of 4K HQ:    • The Dark Crystal (1982) extras behind the ...   This one took me quite a bit of time, a few days because not only the #AI remastering, but also because most of the footage is taken from some kind of analog, magnetic tapes, possibly VHS, and the #color was seriously messed up, most likely not even color corrected (or timed), so everything had a very strong green tint, and sometimes also red, so the colors were really not consistent, natural or pleasant. I wanted to improve this as much as I could with my knowledge and time, so I had to manually color correct almost every shot while of course not going too far and respecting the original footage.
