ASMR - Soft Spoken Reading Legend of the Icepeople

I thought I would read to you from the English translation of Margit Sandemo's "Spellbound" which is book 1 of The Legend of the Ice People. It's a historical romance fantasy series written in the 1980's. There are 47 books in the series, originally published in Norwegian. I love them. These books are like crack. Unfortunately, there are only a few volumes available in English and as far as I know, they are mostly out of print. Fair warning, this book, while a little cheesy, holds dark themes. It's 1581 during a time of plague and famine. There are abandoned babies, dead bodies in the street, funeral pyres, a gallows - it's Hard Times (tm) in Trondheim, Norway. Brace yourself & Thank you for listening :)
