Feel-Good Retro Soul | A Fresh Start After Hard Times

A feel-good retro soul song about beginning again without erasing everything that came before. “Open Windows” is the closing track of Velvet & Grain's debut album, *The Things We Carry*. The kitchen is still imperfect. Old memories still visit. But the narrator opens the windows, lets the street sounds in, calls his father, and finds that a new chapter does not require a brand-new life. This is hopeful soul music with room for all the unfinished parts of being human. Warm acoustic piano, melodic electric bass, lively drums, clean guitar, subtle Hammond organ, and expressive male vocals give the track a joyful vintage R&B pulse. 🎧 Listen to the full album — *The Things We Carry*:    • Vintage Soul & Soul-Blues | 38 Minutes of ...   Original songwriting and creative direction by Velvet & Grain, with AI-assisted music production. #RetroSoul #FeelGoodSoul #NeoSoul
