Alien (1979) is actually one of the best sci-fi horrors I have ever watched. The ambient dread inside the spaceship and the fear of encountering the Xenomorph at any point... top-notch shit, dude. And the man behind it was none other than Ridley Scott, a name that instantly pops into your mind when someone talks about this franchise. However, he did not return to the film series until 2012, when he decided to make a prequel to Alien... Prometheus.
