Beautiful day at Mouth of rivers near Boston

It was a lovely day—sunny, calm, and not too windy—perfect for flying the Potensic Atom 2. I set up at the water’s edge, which made a great start and landing point for the drone. From above, you can see the wide landscape where the rivers Haven and Welland meet the sea, creating those open estuary views Boston is known for. Along the flight path, I passed familiar spots: the Sir Alexander Paterson Monument, the quiet curve of Boston Cove, and viewpoints like Herring Hill, Sea Bank, and the Raptor viewpoint. The Scalp adds its own rugged charm, while the nearby RSPB Frampton Marsh shows just how rich this area is for birdlife and wetlands. There’s also the large stretch of wasteland nearby—once industrial ground, now slowly being reclaimed by nature. From the air, it gives a striking contrast between wild marsh, open water, and the traces of human use.
