The Alfa Romeo GTV6 Was Made for This

The Alfa Romeo GTV6 is a true racing car: raw, balanced and powered by one of the finest-sounding engines ever built. Originally used as a hill climb racer in Italy, this GTV6 has been partly restored and prepared for circuit racing and track days. Its modified 3.0-litre Busso V6 produces approximately 230–260 horsepower, sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed close-ratio transaxle gearbox. With the gearbox and clutch mounted at the rear, near-perfect weight distribution and a De Dion rear axle, the GTV6 feels beautifully balanced on the circuit. It rewards precision, commitment and a driver who understands its character. We tested the car at Circuit Zandvoort during the Spettacolo Sportivo. Even on five-year-old tyres, it performed well and proved what an exciting foundation it is for classic racing or seriously fast track days.
