We Swam with Sharks! Our first ever snorkel in Epic La Jolla, California

Our First Time Snorkeling at La Jolla Cove! 🦈🌊 Our California adventure takes us underwater for the first time ever! During our trip to California, we headed to La Jolla Cove in San Diego to experience the incredible underwater world of Southern California—and it turned out to be an adventure we'll never forget. A Huge Thank You to ‪@SANDIEGOSH1T‬ for being the best personal tour guide and new friend! Let's Go! We geared up, jumped in, and started exploring the Pacific Ocean waters after taking in the sights from above. From colorful fish and shallow reefs to curious sea lions swimming and lounging nearby, there was something amazing around every corner. One of the biggest highlights was encountering leopard sharks in their natural habitat and getting to experience these incredible animals up close! We spotted beautiful orange garibaldi fish, explored the underwater landscape, and even ventured into a sea cave for a different perspective of the La Jolla coastline. For two Great Lakes surfers experiencing California's ocean for the first time, seeing so much marine life beneath the surface was an entirely new adventure. We've spent plenty of time enjoying the water back home in Michigan, but snorkeling in La Jolla Cove opened up a whole new world for us. It was an unforgettable experience filled with wildlife, exploration, and plenty of moments that reminded us why we love getting out and trying something new.
