2003 gx470 teyes cc3

Connectors used for T’EYES CC3. I was having issues with the AC control not working on the physical buttons and the screen. It took multiple days to figure it out. I used 5 total connectors to the car harness. 4 from the T’EYES unit and the upper clock connector. I had read info saying use as many that will fit, this is false info. Use as few connectors as you can. How I figured it out: With nothing connected and key off, I connected one connector at a time and then keyed on to see what worked. Then keyed off and added a connector, key on see what works. Did this over and over until I got it. There is a picture I’ve posted in gx groups that has the connectors labeled with sharpie. One yearish update: 1. Do I like the unit? Meh not really. 2. The Bluetooth sucks and is unusable for phone calls, there are some things I’m going to try and improve it. 3. The reception on FM sucks. Once again there are things I’m going to try to improve it. 4. Love having the backup camera 5. Not having a volume knob is super annoying. 6. Would I buy it again? No, I would source the parts for a nav delete and then go to a more reputable unit. It would be a little more costly but the result would be better in my opinion.
