Robert Glasper presents his debut album Mood, the first release by the pianist on the Fresh Sound New Talent label. Recorded at Systems Two Recording Studio in New York City on May 17 and 20, 2002, Mood introduces Glasper leading a trio with bassist Bob Hurst and drummer Damion Reid, joined on select tracks by guitarist Mike Moreno, saxophonists John Ellis and Marcus Strickland, and vocalist Bilal.
