How to replace the alternator on BMW 318i, e36 4 cylinder - VOTD

Alternator replacement: 2 to 3 hours ($180 / $400 / $600) In this video I helped a friend replace the alternator in his 1996 BMW 318i. Always have the alternator tested prior to installation. Should be the same for the e36 cars from 1992 through 1998.
