"Stella by Starlight" improvisation breakdown!

Mark Mazzatenta plays "Stella by Starlight" and shows how to improvise over this chord progression. Chord types, arpeggios, modal scales, and creating ideas are demonstrated. Your note choices when improvising come from the chords. It is a crucial first step to quickly spell any chord --Root, 3rd, 5th, 7th--in your head and find those notes on the fingerboard.
