LENOVO IDEAPAD 300-15 PLUGGED IN - NOT CHARGING [NOT CHARGING IC]

In this video, the laptop is working fine using the charger only. The battery indicator shows the percentage and say it is "plugged in". But removing the charger, the laptop will turn off. how we troubleshoot: -tried a different working battery - still the problem exist. -using the multitester in resistance mode and diode mode, the positive terminal of the battery is shorted to ground. Tracing the path of the shorted to ground, we found the culprit.
