PowerA Advantage Switch 2 Wireless Controller - Mario Kart World

Note: As of Sunday 7th June 2026, I no longer have this item. Still works. At least I have other controllers I have and like using. On Saturday 14th March 2026, I purchased my first ever Switch 2 controller, and the first with Hall Effect sticks. In this video, I go through the features of PowerA’s Advantage range, specifically Mario Kart World, as that’s the game I currently play almost every Friday evening. Then a brief comparison with the Lumectra (which I got since 6th May 2024). After that, I’ll do a quick test of the sticks and buttons in both Mario Kart World and Splatoon 3. How good is this controller? Let’s find out together in this video. I trust this brand based on past products I’ve used over the years with its build quality and overall performance. I don’t mind this controller not having lights. The ZR button was doing additional inputs whilst I was drifting in Mario Kart World. No issues on Splatoon 3, and no issues when I was drifting with the R button instead. Something to look out for.
