It is essential you have an understanding of some of the cargo commands if you are going to write Rust code. In this session I cover some of the basic commands to create a new project, how to install some dependancies using both the Cargo.toml file and also using the cargo add command. I then install some dependencies for AWS to show how cargo will install our dependencies. Finally I cover the difference between cargo build and cargo build --release and how to choose between them.
