Why You Must Be Extra Careful in Old Age Fulton J Sheen

What happens to your spiritual life as you grow older? In this powerful message inspired by the timeless teachings and preaching style of Fulton J. Sheen, we are reminded that growing older is not the greatest danger. The greater danger is growing older without growing closer to God. As the years pass, life changes. Our strength may decrease, friends may disappear, responsibilities may change, and memories of the past can become heavier. But God does not abandon us with age. This message explores five important spiritual truths every person should remember as they grow older: the danger of spiritual laziness, loneliness and discouragement, the burden of the past, the importance of leaving a legacy of faith, and the urgent need to prepare for eternity. Your age does not cancel your calling. Your weakness does not make God weak. Your past does not have to determine your future. As long as God gives you breath, there is still a purpose for your life. If you are young, middle-aged, or entering the later years of life, this message is a powerful reminder to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus Christ. 🙏 Listen carefully, reflect deeply, and ask yourself: Am I using the years God has given me to grow closer to Him? May this message encourage you to pray more, forgive more, love more, serve more, and prepare your heart for eternity.
