Millefiori part 4 first night and day 2 morning

I accepted a rescue call for a live baby bat on a dead mumbat at the Flour Mills. I don't know why the mumbat died; there are no marks on her suggesting a collision with a car or a tangle with power lines. But baby is alive and doing well. It's such a delight to have a baby who pees almost immediately and looks active and bright eyed. The little blondie-backed girl is a good weight for 12 days old. I topped up her feed when I put her to bed later the first day after she'd been hanging on me for an hour or so; sometimes they settle better if they can hear my heartbeat (and stomach growling), and feel my warmth. By day 2 she wasn't feeling so well, which is a fairly normal thing; the babies often "fall over" during the first 24 hours when their adrenaline wears off and the loss of their mum and the change in their life starts showing its effect. Any bumps or bruises that they suffered during whatever happened to their mumbat show up, anything which was going to swell up does, and they might not feed so well. I can't find anything physically wrong with Fiori, however she isn't feeding well now. If a baby loses coordination during a feed and snots the milk out of their nose, then they never seem to regain their rhythm at that feed, so it's a matter of dripping one drop at a time down the side of her dummy until she's had her feed. and try again next time to get her feeding comfortably. I don't expect it's an issue which is going to continue for more than a day or 2, as she regains her confidence and starts accepting her new life. KOKO Fiori Her name came from the Flour Mills. Welcome to my brain process: Flour/Flower/Fiori, and Mills/mille. Millefiori means 1000 flower, and is also a kind of glassmaking style of making glass discs which look like flowers.
