Bonsai for eurorack, new beginnings: April 12, 2026

I realized that I haven't done any videos just starting a sound / song / bonsai from scratch. This is largely because, especially for this series, I am often inspired by the sounds of my rack and when I get a blank canvas it is so tempting to fill it that I don't want to be distracted by recording. I decided to fix this today. Here is patching from a completely blank canvas. I don't have any precise ideas to start off this one. I did want to play with the vampire, and in particular multiple vampire outputs going to QPAS. I put a basic sequence on the v/oct at the end and...we have a beginning? Maybe? I haven't decided if I should keep it yet. I do like the Legendary Pink Dots sound to it (which if you haven't heard of them and you're into electronic music, you should do yourself a favor and look them up). What's next, if I keep this patch? QPAS to Nautilus? Add percussion?
