Film4 - Continuity, Adverts, Closedown & Startup - 2nd April 2015

During two of Ghibli's more looked down upon work (one being a beautiful pre-foundation flick that marked the theatrical debut of Isao Takahata, best known for Grave of the Fireflies), here is a closedown and startup from Film4 recorded a decade ago today during The Little Norse Prince (aka Horus: Prince of the Sun) and The Cat Returns. The fact this has Gladstone Brookes, Stanton Fisher/haveigotppi.com and an Android ad from their Be Together, Not The Same campaign (a campaign I loved as a kid), during my favourite pre-Ghibli and what used to be my favourite Ghibli until I first watched Princess Mononoke in April 2024 makes this one of my favourite finds.
