A Sunday Afternoon at Van Sant Airport

I spent the afternoon with my small video camera at one of the coolest grass strip airports in the country. I know it's the coolest because I fly the Stearman and the TIger Moth whenever I can. As usual on a warm summer Sunday, there were hundreds of bikers, families, and pilots, young and old flying vintage aircraft. The picnic area was full and the weather was perfect. Not all of the vintage airplanes based at Van Sant flew that day and my favorite, the Tiger Moth was taken to the shop with a stuck exhaust valve, but it was still a great day.
