It is the seventy-first (71st) Bus Service launched under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP). Bus Service 374 is a feeder service from Sengkang to Fernvale Road, mainly serving residents in the new Anchorvale and Fernvale estates with direct links to Sengkang Bus Interchange and Sengkang MRT & LRT Station as well as other amenities along the route. It was the first bus service launched from the former Compassvale Bus Interchange. With the closure of Compassvale Bus Interchange on 1 December 2024, the service was amended to Sengkang Bus Interchange instead. Free rides were offered on the first day of service (12 Mar 2017).
