2009 Mother Goose Stakes and Vanity Handicap on TVG

On June 27th, 2009, racing fans got to experience the rare joy of watching two future Hall of Famers in the midst of legendary seasons win two G1 races on two sides of the U.S. - Rachel Alexandra in the Mother Goose Stakes at Belmont Park in New York, and Zenyatta in the G1 Vanity Handicap at Hollywood Park in California. Both stars delivered on the day amid plenty of fanfare on and off the track.
