Living With The 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 6 Preferred Long Range

This is what its like to live with and own a 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 6 Preferred Long Range RWD. This is the entry level IONIQ 6. After driving the 2023 IONIQ 6 AWD Ultimate I thought I wouldn't like the base model all that much but I am happy to say that wasn't the case. Even with RWD the driving still felt really similar to the fully loaded version because no matter what model you go with that big battery pack is still on the floor keeping that center of gravity low giving you a feeling for a lot of control. The base features are also decent I didn't find myself missing much from the Ultimate package other than the rims and the Sunroof two things I wish were simply options and I didn't have to spend all that money on a full ultimate package. Also the fact that we don't have AWD we get more range with over 600KM of range in warm weather and in ECO mode I was really happy to see it Overall you do not need the fully upgraded ultimate package to enjoy the IONIQ 6. This is a great entry level EV that holds its own to the model 3 and looks like a normal yet unique car while doing so.
