The Clinician Leadership Program from Harvard Medical School Executive Education prepares practicing physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and other health care professionals to be influential and purpose-driven leaders. This 17-week program combines Harvard Medical School’s academic rigor with practical leadership application and an optional on-campus immersion. The curriculum includes leadership in the age of artificial intelligence (AI), with a focus on responsible integration of AI tools in health care.
Today’s care environment requires leaders to act with clarity, empathy, and strategic vision as they navigate complex health systems and shape meaningful, lasting change. However, limited exposure to organizational decision making, leadership training in the context of health care, and cross-functional alignment often undermines the confidence and effectiveness of new leaders. The program is designed to help you build adaptive, interpersonal, and system-level leadership skills that support your growth and empower you to take on new challenges.
