Vocal Toning the Chakras with Ruth Ratliff, VSTCP #guided

This video is an introduction to the sacred practice of vocal toning, and a brief explanation of the chakra system. I take you through grounding body and breath exercises, as well as a vocal toning session using the chakra vowel sounds - feel free to follow along to kick start your own practice! The film footage is an excerpt from my workshop, Your Wise Magical Voice, which explores the expressive, healing and spiritual aspects of our voice and vibration. In ancient Hebrew and Chinese the vowel sounds are considered to be sacred. Like other mediative practices, toning can reduce stress and release pent up emotions, as well as developing your voice-ear connection, which is a subtle system in the body. Vocal toning has been found to lower blood pressure and heart rate, increase lymphatic circulation, release endorphins and nitric oxide and oxygenate the cells. Also, the muscles of the digestive system are massaged and stimulated by the practice of regular toning. Chakras are referred to as spinning wheels of energy. The sacred vowel sounds are mantras. The word “mantra” translates to “liberate one’s mind”. The seven chakras balance the energy to every part of our body/mind/spirit. By learning about these energy centers, and developing a practice of vocal toning, you can rebalance your “out of tune” energies that will allow the natural flow of energy to move through your body. #guided #chakra #toning #vocal Link for my book, The Voice of Women’s Wisdom: https://www.amazon.com/Voice-Womens-W... https://www.ruthratliff.com/ BOOK A FREE 30 MINUTE DISCOVERY CALL - https://app.acuityscheduling.com/sche...
