What’s Delta economy actually like on a nearly 10-hour transatlantic flight? Today I’m flying Delta Air Lines from London Heathrow to Seattle in economy class aboard the Airbus A330-900neo. And while economy is still economy, I think Delta does a surprisingly good job back here. One of the biggest advantages is the A330’s 2-4-2 layout. If you’re traveling alone or as a pair, those two seats by the window can make a huge difference compared with the 3-3-3 layout you’ll usually find on a 787 or A350. Add comfortable seats, free WiFi for SkyMiles members, good entertainment, friendly service and decent catering, and this turned into a very pleasant way to spend almost ten hours.
