Spain - Fuente De - Two Hikes & Tram

Day out to Fuente De in Northern Spain - Picos de Europa - two hikes - G & A hike up the long (8.4 mile circuitous) Trail 24, which would be to the top, but we chose to do 2 miles out and back from the bottom of the trail. Took about 2.5 hours on a very hot day. A lot of our hike was through shaded forests which mitigated the heat a bit. S & R choose the switchback, extremely steep, grueling, hot hike up the face - (they are very gnarly!) - 3000 foot elevation gain. G & A hiked and then took the tram up and met them at the top. Going to the top is well worth it with beautiful views!
