chapter 37 - Shrinkage Ratio of Soil
Shrinkage Ratio is indicated as SR and it is defined as the ratio of the volume change of the soil above shrinkage limit, which we express in the percentage of the soil’s minimum volume that is when it was at shrinkage limit, to the corresponding change in water content.
SR = (((v1-v2) / Vd) x 100) / (w1-w2)
