Melendir - Dark Keeps Walking

Heavy Metal song about someone walking through hell. Song is made with Suno AI Pro Lyrics: The ground he walks on, isn't ground at all Just the hollow floor of a slow collapse and fall No hand reaches for him, no voice calls his name Only the wreckage that still wears his pain Something older than his breathing, waits below Counting every step he takes, through the undertow He's the wound that keeps on walking Deaf to the choir of his own undoing He's the ash that won't lie still Dragging himself with the power of will Nothing holds him steady, nothing pulls him back He feeds the hunger circling, won't look at what he lacks Every door he's shattered, every room he's burned He wears the scars, like proof of lessons learned No mercy waits beneath him, no exit to relieve him This descent was carved in him, before he chose to leave He's the wound that keeps on walking Deaf to the choir of his own undoing He's the ash that won't lie still Dragging himself with the power of will They swore he'd vanish. They swore he'd lose But the dark forgets the ones it couldn't stop He's the wound that keeps on walking Louder than the silence he was drowning in He's the ash that won't lie still Dragging himself with the power of will © 2026 Jyrki Brusell.
