Beyond the Curb: Inside Sara Fay Egan’s Beautifully Preserved Historic Dallas Home

Today on The Potted Boxwood, we’re taking you Beyond the Curb and inside the beautifully preserved University Park home of my dear friend Sara Fay Egan. A home where the art of collecting meets the art of entertaining, and every room has a story to tell. Thoughtfully restored by Sara Fay and her husband alongside Coats Homes, with interior design contributions from Max Sinsteden, this historic Dallas home strikes a beautiful balance between preservation and personality. Sara Fay has an exceptional eye for antiques, found objects, and one-of-a-kind treasures, many discovered during her beloved trips to Round Top. Each room is layered with interest and character, yet nothing feels contrived or overly decorated. There is an effortless flow throughout the home that makes it as inviting as it is beautiful. As a former wedding and event planner, Sara Fay understands the art of entertaining better than most. I can certainly speak from experience, as she planned my own wedding! Her thoughtful approach to creating meaningful experiences is reflected throughout her home, where beautiful interiors are meant to be lived in and enjoyed. Sara Fay and I also co-host the podcast @ChicBetweenTheLines where we share candid conversations about interiors, entertaining, and the stories behind the spaces we love. Be sure to subscribe to@ChicBetweenTheLines on YouTube for more conversations, personal stories, and a closer look at the people behind these beautiful homes! Sara Fay is also the author of the Amazon bestselling book The Through Line, which I highly recommend. SHOP THE THROUGH LINE: https://on.ltk.com/+PTSrmYUgly4o738qL...
