Wherever God places us, He can use our gifts, our resources, our time, our words, and our actions to become a blessing to others. I originally received the inspiration for this song in 2017, while serving in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. During that season, God began teaching me about service, purpose, using my gifts beyond my familiar environment, and being willing to serve wherever He sends me. As a member of the Celestial Church of Christ, my journey of service has taken me into different environments and denominations, and those experiences helped me understand that our gifts are ultimately given by God and should be used for His glory. Iṣẹ́ Olúwa is therefore more than just a song to me.
