Believe It Foundation - Hondo Bikes in the Homecoming Parade

Believe It Foundation - Bikes in Hondo ISD Homecoming Parade Get ready for hometown parade vibes and plenty of Hondo Owl Spirit! This highlight reel captures the excitement of Hondo ISD’s Homecoming Parade, where school clubs, teams and student organizations showed off their creative floats and brought the community together in celebration. Watch until the end to experience the incredible community support! Along Avenue Q and 27th Street, parade-watchers began gathering in front of homes hours before the festivities kicked off. Students waved to the crowds, tossed candy, and proudly represented their schools as they made their way along the parade route. The Believe It Foundation’s Bikes in Schools program, along with a grant from Medina Electric Cooperative provided several new bikes for Hondo ISD’s ALE classes. These bikes help create opportunities for students to experience inclusion, movement and meaningful participation alongside their peers. As of October 2026, the Believe It Foundation serves 26 school districts across the Greater San Antonio Area, helping students build connections and participate more fully in their school communities. We hope you enjoy this celebration of Hondo Owl pride, community spirit and the power of coming together to make sure everyone has a place in the parade!
