Episode 3: Ohio River Cruise - American Cruise Lines - Madison & Cincinnati

My Ohio River cruise with American Cruise Lines continues with an action-packed couple of days in Madison, Indiana, and Cincinnati, Ohio. I start out with a sleepy Sunday morning drone flight over historic Madison before boarding a high-speed jet boat for an exciting excursion down the river. We check out a massive local power plant , look for bald eagle nesting sites on the Kentucky side , and get an up-close look at how 15-barge commercial tows navigate the river. At dinner time, our ship, American Melody, heads upriver... passing through our very first lock of the trip: the Markland Locks & Dam. The next morning, we wake up docked right next to the home of the Cincinnati Reds! I get the drone up early for some spectacular aerial views of the Great American Ball Park, the Cincinnati skyline, and the historic John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge. The highlight of the whole trip is an incredible insider tour of the ballpark. We get access to luxury areas like the Diamond Club and the BCL Press Club , see the broadcast booths , watch the grounds crew prep the field , and even get to hang out right inside the Reds' dugout!
