To see is simply to be. Attaining Self-Realization is not about seeing something new. It is not about reaching a distant destination. It is simply being established in your true, natural state at all times. All you need to do is give up the habit of mistaking the unreal for the real. We must drop this practice. Only then will we recognize the Self as the Self. At one stage, you will wonder about yourself: "Why did I search for a Self that is so clear and well-known?" Therefore, what answer can be given to this question? That state is beyond both the scene (the object) and the seer (the subject). There is no "one who sees" or "something to be seen." The seer who currently sees everything will not remain; only the Self exists.* Question: How can one know this as a direct experience? Answer: When we speak of "knowing" the Self, it implies the existence of two entities: 1. The "I" who knows the Self. 2. The "I" who is being known. In addition to these two, there must be the act of "knowing" itself. However, the state we call Realization is simply being as one is.
