Spending winter in China I explored Changbaishan for snowy mountains and snowboarding, then solo travelled to Yanji to experience the Korean-Chinese food scene (so worth it). Wandered through local markets for shopping, cosy cafés, and everyday sights I also visited the North Korean Cultural Centre and ended the trip in Harbin — the snow there was unreal. Truly one of my favourite winter experiences.
